Exchange Policy
This guide explains how to exchange a leather item for a different size or color.
What Can Be Exchanged:
- Unworn, unwashed, and undamaged leather items
- Items with original tags still attached
- Items in the same condition as when received, including all original packaging
- Items purchased within 30 days of the purchase date (keep your receipt)
Important Information:
- Exchanges are only accepted for items purchased directly from the Hidecraftsman website.
- Some items, such as belts or custom products, may have specific exchange requirements. These details will be noted on the product page.
How to Initiate an Exchange:

To start an exchange, contact the customer service team at support@hidecraftsman.com or by phone at Tel: +1 (845) 380-0253 . Provide your order number and details about the item you want to exchange, including the size and/or color you're requesting.

Return Instructions:
The customer service team will provide you with detailed instructions, including the return address and any necessary forms.

Return Shipment:
Carefully pack the item in the original packaging or another suitable box to avoid damage during shipping. Use a reliable shipping service with tracking, and keep proof of shipment for your records.
Exchange Processing:
Once the returned item is received, it will be inspected to confirm it meets the exchange conditions.
What Happens Next:

Approved Exchange:
If the exchange is approved, a new item will be shipped to you, subject to availability.

Unavailable Size/Color:
If the desired size or color is unavailable, a full refund will be issued to the original payment method.

Exchange Shipping Costs:
Hide craftsman will cover the cost of shipping the new item if the exchange is due to an error on the company’s part (e.g., damaged or incorrect item). If the exchange is due to personal preference (size or color), the customer will be responsible for the return shipping cost.

Time Limits:
Exchange requests must be made within 30 days from the date of purchase.
Final Sale Items:
Merchandise marked as “Final Sale” cannot be returned or exchanged. Refunds will not be processed for final sale items.
Refunds:
- Items in original, unused condition can be refunded within 30 days from the delivery date.
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
- Shipping and handling costs are non-refundable.
- Refunds will include the item cost and applicable sales tax.
How to Return an Item:
