Finding the perfect leather fit can be challenging, but don’t worry! Hidecraftsman is here to assist you with our hassle-free exchange policy. This guide outlines how you can easily exchange your leather item for a different size or color.

What You Can Exchange:

  • Unworn, unwashed, and undamaged leather items
  • Items with original tags still attached
  • Items in the same condition as when received, including all original packaging
  • Items purchased within 30 days of your purchase receipt (please keep your receipt handy!)

Important to Note:

  • We can only accept exchanges for items originally purchased from the Hidecraftsman website.
  • Certain leather items, such as belts or customized pieces, may have specific exchange requirements. These details will be clearly outlined on the product page.

Initiating an Exchange:

  • Contact Us:

Please include your order number and the details of the leather item you’d like to exchange, including the size and/or color you’re requesting.
  • Return Instructions:
    Our customer service team will provide you with detailed instructions, including the return address and any necessary forms.
  • Return Shipment:
    Carefully pack your leather item(s) in the original packaging or a suitable alternative to ensure protection during shipping. Use a reliable and trackable service for your return shipment. We recommend keeping your proof of shipment for your records.

Exchange Processing:

Once we receive your returned item, we’ll thoroughly inspect it to ensure it meets the conditions outlined above.

What Happens Next:

  • Approved Exchange:
    If your exchange is approved, we’ll ship the new item to you free of charge, subject to availability.
  • Unavailable Size/Color:
    If your desired size or color is unavailable, we’ll issue a full refund to the original payment method used for your purchase.

Additional Information:

  • Exchange Shipping Costs:
    We’ll cover the shipping cost of the new item if the exchange is due to our error (e.g., damaged or incorrect item). If you’re exchanging for personal reasons (size or color), you’ll be responsible for the return shipping cost.
